The basic PD System consists of a dispense head assembly with the required number of Ozark Systems' patented three-stage, all stainless steel MF4 dispense valves. The head may be a fixed head assembly, X movement or X-Y movement, dependent on the number of valves, batch size and container dimensions. Also included is a stainless steel, force compensated scale with a typical range of 15Kg to 300Kg. Raw material storage is from an existing floor or mezzanine area, although dispensing can be effected direct from suppliers' vessels. Conveying
can be added to convey the containers to and from the dispense position.
Empty containers are placed on to a powered conveyor section which transfers
them to a position directly below the dispense head. On completion of
the dispense the containers are transferred either to a holding section
beyond the weigh head or to a section of transfer conveyor for further
handling. Right: Typical infeed conveying system Options
include in-line raise/lower assemblies and 'piggy back' scale units to
give high accuracy and high volume Mixing can be added in the form of single or twin-headed mixers with automatic wash facility, with variable speed and mix times dependent on batch size. User software can be fully customised to your requirements. This can include job creation, refills and alterations, re-use of returned product, real time update of dispensed weights, estimation of material required for current production runs and full management reporting software. On-board diagnostic features can also be provided. All PD series dispense systems are supplied with a modem to enable on-line system support and upgrades as required. MF4
