The Ozark CD60 semi-automatic gravimetric chemical dispenser enables the user to control the dispensing of a number of products, with the minimum of operator input, and constitutes an ideal entry-level system for a smaller site. Weighing of between 1 and 24 components in any formula is possible, since the unit is available with up to 24 dispense valves.

Dispensing is computer controlled, utilising an industry standard stainless steel scale. Components are individually dispensed into the container, which is mounted on the scale.

The operator places a container on the scale and the required formula is entered into the system either by name or, more usually, by product number via the computer keypad. The quantity to be dispensed is then requested. The formula is checked by the system computer and dispensing can then take place. Formulae can also be entered into the dispense computer on an individual basis for non-standard formulations.

On completion of each dispense the operator removes the container from the scale. Washing of the valve outlets and the scale tray then takes place, prior to the next formula being weighed.

Recirculation can be incorporated into the system for products that have a tendency to settle during storage.

The system can be networked to factory management systems, and print-outs can be provided to give management reporting of usage of chemicals for costing and stock control purposes. A modem can be supplied to enable on-line support and upgrades as required.

System accuracy for chemicals is ±5g. High accuracy systems are also available to suit individual requirements.
